“Hannah and family at Boneyard Farm grow and offer their community quality organic veg and delicious meats, including the best bacon around. We visit them at the markets, their farm stand, and buy into their CSA because what they supply is top notch and because they are committed to supporting their community and to land stewardship.”

Who we are…
Boneyard Farm is a labor of love. Hannah and John began on a small farmstead on ten hardscrabble acres in northern Vermont. We scaled up in 2021, purchasing a former conventional dairy. With the help of the Vermont Land Trust and the farm’s previous owners, our 180-acre property is forever conserved as working agricultural land.
Hannah Doyle runs the day-to-day business of the farm and the vegetable operation. John is behind the scenes on infrastructure and maintenance, and he manages the rotational grazing and animal health for our livestock. He builds all the things and fixes all the problems. Two young boys, Reuben and Dimitri, help out on the farm and provide tons of laughter.
Summer CSA
Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is designed to provide community members with a (delicious) stake in our growing season. Members pre-pay for a season’s worth of veggies, then benefit by getting at least 10% more in retail value than they’ve paid. This allows us to have a cashflow boost before the growing season arrives, paying upfront for seeds, soil, growing materials, and labor, then rewarding CSA members with the very freshest organic vegetables each week.
Boneyard Farm seeks to grow high quality foods with intention and care, to improve soils and be good stewards of our agricultural and forested land. We strive to allow our livestock to express their natural behaviors in a pasture environment, and to care for, honor, and show gratitude for our animals’ lives.
We strive to feed people in our immediate community and to inspire or instill a greater sense of connection between people and living (agricultural) systems. We want our farm to be open to the community as a resource and as a hub for sharing skills, knowledge, and passion. We share the story and practices of our farm with our community, transparently and authentically.
