Community Supported Agriculture

The idea here is to share some of the ins and outs of our small farm with members of our community, and make connections. Members sign up in advance for certified organic vegetables, and they take ownership in the successes of our family farm, learn about fresh produce, and ask questions / get to know us along the way.

2026 DETAILS -

We do not structure our CSA around traditional boxed weekly shares but rather offer a "declining balance" model. CSA members use the honor system, just like the general public, at the farmstand, to select whatever vegetables, herbs, and fruits they'd like, and they keep track of their season's credit in a separate CSA binder at the stand.

The Boneyard stand is open Friday - Monday, 8:00-6:00, and it will be open for a growing season that lasts at least 24 weeks (early May thru Indigenous Peoples Day). If you’re out of town one week, load up the next! Or stuff yourself with tomatoes one week and make pickles another. Swing by Friday morning and then again at the end of the day Monday if you forgot something. You can spend your fresh produce dollars however it works for your household, throughout the season. Our intention is that this system allows for some more flexibility and works for the busy summer schedule that so many enjoy.

Other perks of CSA membership: periodic updates on your remaining $ credit and recipes emailed to you occasionally throughout the summer. First dibs anytime we have bulk deals or special sales available. Maybe a few on-farm events? Camaraderie, community, inside scoop, and being part of our farm. And… you tell us! We are very open to feedback and suggestions. What do you want this farm community to include?

CSA share size options! We allow members to choose between a small, medium, or large share. (Bigger discounts for larger shares, as a thank-you for committing to eating more food and helping us get the season off the ground.)

Choose a size that works for your household:

SMALL - pay $240 up front and get $250 in farmstand produce credit (4% savings)

MEDIUM - pay $460 up front and get $500 in farmstand produce credit (8% savings)

LARGE - pay $675 up front and get $750 in farmstand produce credit (10% savings)

Collection of fresh vegetables, herbs, and greens arranged on a wooden surface, including tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, zucchini, radishes, onions, peppers, garlic, and herbs.

IN CASE YOU’RE WONDERING…

Can I spend my CSA credit on other things at the stand?

Members will only be able to use their CSA credit for fresh produce (vegetables, herbs, and fruit) but since our farmstand will be fully open, there will also be available for sale as an add-on: yarn, jam, pesto, pickles, and meat (lamb, pork, and beef). At our farmstand, we only sell what we produce here ourselves.

Are Boneyard Farm veggies organic?

Yes! Our produce is certified organic by Vermont Organic Farmers. This includes vegetables, herbs, and fruit.

What can we expect?

We grow a wide variety of market-garden style fresh organic vegetables. Lots of high-quality salad greens, tomatoes, peas, cucumbers, fresh onions, peppers, eggplants, herbs (basil, dill, cilantro, parsley, etc.), sweet corn, new potatoes, carrots, beets, green beans, squash, etc. We also grow some strawberries and melons. We don’t grow a ton of storage crops, so don’t hold out for fall and plan to stock up on things for winter (plenty of other farms in our area specialize in that type of thing!). You can feel free to check out our social media for drool-worthy pics of our fresh veggies as examples.

Can I use my CSA credit at the farmers market?

Sorry— farmstand only! Keeping it simple. The farmstand is a great destination though— right on the Cambridge/Fletcher town line, just over a mile from the wrong-way bridge on Rte 15. Easy access, self-serve, and it’s a beautiful farm. And if a CSA share just doesn’t feel like a good fit this year, no worries! Our self-serve farmstand will be open to the public Fri-Mon, and we’ll be at the Jeffersonville Farmers Market every Wednesday and the Jericho Farmers Market every Thursday.

How do I sign up?

Email us! We will coordinate payment quickly and directly — check, Venmo, or cash.

We participate in the NOFA-VT Farm Share Program!

The Farm Share Program provides fresh, local foods to Vermonters in need of financial assistance via reduced-price CSA shares. This program ensures that farmers (that’s us!) are paid in full.

If you or someone you know would like one of our CSAs but are struggling to afford it, the Farm Share program might be able to help! NOFA-VT typically subsidizes 50% of your share cost, up to $350 off.

Applications are open February 1st through February 28th. Apply today at nofavt.org/farmshare.
